Cameron Smith Music
Cameron Smith was preparing to launch his EP and needed a landing page to build an email list and promote his music.
We designed and built a one-page style website (clicking a link in the menu will slide down to the relevant section). A landing page like this is faster to build, more cost-effective, and requires less content to get started. It's a good fit for businesses or individuals who need the equivalent of an online resume or clean, user-friendly confirmation that yes, this is a legitimate business because we invested in this awesome website!

Website Design Process
After the initial consultation we created a live prototype for approval on the website design. Then we began the development phase, building the live site and adding an email subscription form so Cameron could begin promoting it. The Facebook embed in the footer automatically pulled in new posts, and the embed at the top of the page did the same for music uploaded to his Soundcloud account.
Cameron already had a logo, album artwork and excellent photography, so most assets were provided (thanks Cameron!) –we worked with what he had to choose a color palette and design the overall layout.
Event functionality was added so concerts could be added to the backend of the website, then show up automatically on the ‘Upcoming Events’ section of the website.
Additional Functionality When Needed
When the album was ready to purchase, we installed and configured WooCommerce so Cameron could sell the physical CD through the website. This is a great example of how services can be added at a later date when needed. We always stress that’s important to build a foundation, launch the site, then continually iterate and improve.
